The number one site for everything that has to do with sports in and around Atlanta is growing. Because of this we are looking for contributors to join our team. Get featured on Sports Illustrated. Have resume building experience. Get your foot in the door to the world of sports writing/covering. Have questions? Well read on!

Your post could be right hereWe are looking for 10 people to join our team. You don’t have to be a professional blogger, or any experience at all. All you need is a love and knowledge of sports, and the ability to write. A love of Atlanta teams would help, but if you can use google, you can learn about the team you are covering. The only thing that we ask is that you give us a sample or two of anything that you have written.

So, now that you know that you probably can qualify to get featured on SI.com and have thousands reading your stuff, you want to know what we are looking for. Well, due to the rapid growth of our readership, we have openings in all departments.

We need 1 writer to cover the Braves, 1 writer to cover the Falcons, 1 to cover the Hawks, 1 to cover the Bulldogs, 1 to cover the Yellow Jackets, 1 to cover minor league and semi-pro teams, and 2 people to split duties of writing about the Dream, smaller colleges (Spelman, Georgia State, etc.), and prep sports from around the area. Also we need at least 2 people to post news updates for anything that has to do with any of these. This last position wouldn’t require as much writing, just short posts updating our viewers on what they should know immediately with links to your sources.

We would prefer if you would be able to post 9-15 200-500 word posts a month, and besides that, it can be on whatever topic about the team you cover. Best part? If you currently are writing for someone else you don’t have to leave them! The exposure you get from being featured on SI.com is incredible, and can only help to drive traffic to your stories and social media accounts.

So, come be a member of the fastest growing sports website in the Atlanta area. Contact us on twitter, facebook, or email our Senior Editor Barry Swindler at applytoatlallday@gmail.com right now before all positions become filled.
