It was a (relatively) easy week of work last week against North Texas, but this week, the LSU Tigers make their way to Athens for an epic showdown. We gave you a deeper look at the game on Friday, but the impact of this game moving forward can’t be overstated.

Following this game, the schedule for Georgia becomes significantly easier, and in fact, the Bulldogs should be favored in each and every game until the (presumptive) SEC Title game in Atlanta. With that said, LSU provides a unique challenge, as they are blessed with a strong passing offense for the first time since Jamarcus Russell roamed the field, and running back Jeremy Hill is an absolute monster along the lines of Todd Gurley.

Our friends in Las Vegas have set this line at -3 in favor of the Bulldogs, and that is basically the equivalent of “punting” an opinion on who the better team is. I am in line with this thinking, though, as these two teams grade out very equally, and this should be an extremely entertaining, close-fought battle.

Stay tuned for post-game analysis, including a full recap shortly after the conclusion on the field, and be sure to stay active in the comments below before, during, and after the game!
