Greetings! First of all, be sure to check out our recap of the first home preseason game of the year, as the Hawks dropped a close game to the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday night. With that out of the way, it’s time to focus on the Memphis Grizzlies.

We don’t have word at this time if there will be any “inactives” for the Hawks, but both John Jenkins and Dennis Schroder sat during the San Antonio game with a back and knee injury, respectively. As for the Grizz, Memphis is a highly entertaining basketball team that has become a playoff fixture in the Western Conference and although this game is competing with Falcons/Bucks (yikes), the crowd could be a bit larger due to the weekend context.

It will be extremely interesting to see what kind of player rotation that Mike Budenholzer deploys after using his starters for the duration of the 4th quarter against the Spurs, and the battles for roster spots (3rd point guard and backup wing) are going full steam ahead. Stay tuned.
