Aloha! The Jackets are back at home this evening against a solid opponent in Pittsburgh, but before we get too far into today’s festivities, be sure to check out our full-length preview here.

As stated as said preview, this is an enormous game for the bowl prospects of Georgia Tech, and there are no givens (at least against FBS opponents) after tonight’s contest. Fortunately, this is a spot where the Jackets are simply the better team and that is illustrated by the perception (and reality) of both teams.

Our friends in Las Vegas have installed Georgia Tech as a 10.5-point favorite at home, and that is yet another indication of the difference between the two clubs. Losing as a double-digit favorite is never good for morale (or the coach’s job security) and that heightens things here. It should be stated that Pitt isn’t a trainwreck, however, and Georgia Tech will have to show up and play at least a B+ game to grab a victory.

Stay tuned to this thread throughout the afternoon, and feel free to blast off in the comments before, during, and after the game.
