After an extended, 11-day absence from football, the Yellow Jackets are back in action, and this time, it’s with a nationally televised audience! In case you missed it, be sure to check out our full-length preview that posted early on Thursday morning.

As covered in the preview, the running game for Georgia Tech is going to be utterly crucial here. Offensively, it is the one constant (if we can consider it that) for the Jackets, and defensively, it would be huge for the Clemson offense to be standing on the sidelines for the majority of this ball game.

Our friends in Las Vegas have installed Georgia Tech as somewhere between a 10.5 and 11-point favorite in this game, and for me, that is actually pretty respectful toward the Jackets. Clemson has been blowing out all comers with the exception of a close win against Georgia and the crushing loss to Florida State, and the fact that Tech can “hang” with that type of line on the road is a good thing. However, I actually think the Jackets could legitimately compete here, and we’ll know early on if that is the truth.

Stay tuned to this thread throughout the afternoon, and feel free to blast off in the comments before, during, and after the game.
