The time is upon us.

Obviously, we knew that the yearly rivalry game between the Georgia Bulldogs and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets was coming up during Thanksgiving weekend on November 30th, but it was announced on Monday that the game would take place at 3:30 pm ET.

We are still awaiting clarity on exactly where to watch this game (although WSB-TV is reporting that they’ll carry the game live in the Atlanta market), but the 3:30 pm window is one that places this game in a difficult position.

The “Iron Bowl” between Alabama and Auburn is set for the identical time window (on CBS) and that should take any “casual” eyes off of the Tech/UGA match-up because of the National Championship implications in the state of Alabama. However, every fan of the two in-state teams will have their eyes on Bobby Dodd Stadium, and we were only 12 days away from kick-off.

This is going to be fun.
