The Georgia Bulldogs are back in action today, as they are set to host the lowly Kentucky Wildcats. Kentucky enters Athens as one of two teams in the SEC without a conference win (the other being Arkansas), and this isn’t exactly the hype machine of a game that last week was against Auburn.

On Friday, we broke this game down in long-form fashion, but in short, this is a spot where Georgia simply should dominate. The Dawgs are the superior team in virtually every way, and this is one case where the opposing offense isn’t dangerous enough to threaten what has admittedly been a porous defense led by Todd Grantham.

As always, we turn to the experts in Las Vegas for clarity, and they have installed Georgia as a 24.5-point favorite at home against this edition of Kentucky. Frankly, I’m surprised that this line wasn’t higher, and if anything, I’d expect a 4-5 touchdown margin at the conclusion of this one. The only worry for Mark Richt here is a “letdown” game after the disastrous Auburn loss and in advance of the in-state rivalry showdown next week, but I don’t believe that will come into play here.

Stay tuned for post-game analysis, including a full recap shortly after the game, and this is a big one.
