Just the other day, Georgia got a big commitment from four-star defensive back Rico McGraw. Today, Mark Richt and John Lilly picked Alabama’s pocket again, this time for athlete Terry Godwin.

Godwin is a four-star prospect according to Rivals.com and a five-star prospect if you turn to Scout.com. Scout also lists Godwin as the No. 3 cornerback in the nation for the class of 2015, and their National Recruiting Analyst–Chad Simmons–has great things to say about him:

"Godwin is a smooth athlete that does a little bit of everything on the high school level. He’d like to play both sides of the ball on the next level and he has the ability to do that. He does so many things well and naturally. He has quick feet, a great burst, and he plays the game at a high speed. He has great ball skills, he can really turn and run, and he knows how to make plays. – Chad Simmons"

Simmons says Godwin is a great corner, an outstanding wide receiver and has the ability to play free safety, but he expects him to play corner at the college level.

Another day, another great pick up for Georgia. While most college’s are going through a quite period in recruiting, it’s great to see the Dawgs picking up some high quality commitments. Georgia’s 2015 class is looking excellent at this point, with a four-star receiver, a four star corner and now Godwin, a five-star corner/receiver/safety.
