After pulling off a nice win at Wake Forest, Georgia Tech (12-10) is headed to Clemson (14-6) to take on the No. 5 team in the ACC.

Clemson brings an extremely tough defense to the table, and Georgia Tech is going to need big efforts from Trae Golden (day-to-day), Marcus Georges-Hunt and Daniel Miller offensively if they want to grab another win. The Tigers recently held Florida State to just 49 points, and it’s going to be extremely tough to score regularly against this team.

KenPom.com rates Clemson as the No. 9 defensive team based on adjusted defense, as they allow just 91.6 points per 100 possessions. Offensively, they aren’t a huge threat (ranked 179th), with just one player averaging more than 10 points per game. Junior forward K.J. McDaniels is putting up 16.7 points per game as well as 7.1 rebounds. He’s definitely been the Tigers’ top offensive player and the Jackets are going to need to hold him in check.

Vegas has the Yellow Jackets as 7-point underdogs in this game. It all depends on what the offense can muster in this one, and if Trae Golden winds up sitting on the bench for the entire game… we probably won’t be seeing back-to-back upsets from Georgia Tech.
