Atlanta Falcons could trade their No. 6 pick in the NFL Draft

As the NFL Draft approaches many people have started to wonder whether or not the Atlanta Falcons would trade their No. 6 selection–either up, or down. Falcons General Manager Thomas Dimitroff has a reputation for trading picks, and he revealed earlier today at a press conference that he has had talks with other teams:

It shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that he’s had talks… that is the GM’s job after all. Whether or not those talks come to fruition is the real question, as well as whether Dimitroff is looking to trade up or down.

Regardless of what happens come draft day, it seems like a pretty good bet that the Falcons will stay within the top 10:

And to make things really interesting, it seems pretty clear that Dimitroff has had talks with the Houston Texans who as you know hold the No. 1 pick (Jadeveon Clowney):

Despite the fact that we have no real news here, it’s clear that the NFL Draft is already starting to heat up.
