There is a great deal of anticipation for the 2014 NFL season on behalf of the Atlanta Falcons, and fan interest is at the heart of everything. With that in mind, the Falcons have announced that single-game tickets will be on sale beginning on Thursday morning.

Here is a portion of the release from the team:

"The Atlanta Falcons announced today that single-game tickets for the 2014 season will go on sale Thursday, May 15 at 10 a.m.Single-game tickets can be purchased online by visiting www.atlantafalcons.com/tickets or www.ticketmaster.com. Tickets can also be ordered by phone via Ticketmaster at 1-800-745-3000 or any Publix Ticketmaster outlet.Current season ticket holders will receive an opportunity to purchase single-game seats on Tuesday, May 13th at 10:00 a.m. thru www.Ticketmaster.com before they go on sale to the general public. The general public will also have the opportunity to purchase two and four-game packages, providing a value for Falcons fans when compared to buying single-game tickets separately.Season tickets, Gameday Suites and Verizon Wireless Club Seats are on sale now and can be purchased at www.atlantafalcons.com/tickets or by calling 855-222-FANS. By purchasing season tickets, Falcons fans pay the lowest per game price."

Mid-May could seem a bit early for this type of release, but it should be assumed that tickets will fly off the virtual shelves. The Falcons did a very solid job in the draft, snatching at least one immediate starter and what should be a handful of contributors in year one, and with guys like Roddy White and Julio Jones fully healthy and ready to play, this should be an improved bunch.

Stay tuned all year for the latest on the Falcons, and grab your tickets!
