Jerry was considered a long shot to make the team this season and is hanging up the jersey after five seasons with the Atlanta Falcons after being taken with the 24th overall pick in the 2009 NFL Draft.
He played in just two games his rookie season before going on to play in 16, 16, 14 and 16 games the past four seasons respectively. Jerry finishes his career with 51 tackles, 5.5 sacks, one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries.
