Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at Virginia Tech Hokies: Start Time, TV Channel, Live Stream and More

Paul Johnson and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets currently stand at 3-0, but for the first time during the 2014 college football season, they enter a contest as the underdog as they travel to Blacksburg to take on Virginia Tech. The Hokies are reeling a bit in the aftermath of a disappointing loss to East Carolina last Saturday, but because this game is in their backyard, Virginia Tech should be more than ready to give the Jackets their best shot.
The “underdog” notion surrounding Georgia Tech also plays out for bookmakers, as the Jackets currently stand as a 7.5-point underdog in most places, with a couple of outlets trending toward eight points. This shouldn’t come as a surprise given the venue, but it does provide the opportunity for Tech to shock some of the general public with an outright win should everything go to plan on the field. In our full preview from Friday morning, we examined this game on a deeper level, but needless to say, Virginia Tech is a unit with immense talent, and execution will be at a premium (especially on the offensive end with regard to the option game) in order to put the Jackets in position for an “upset” win.
