The Atlanta Falcons are in must-win territory on Sunday, as they host the Chicago Bears at the Georgia Dome. However, the team announced on Friday that they will be short-handed on the outside, as wide receiver Harry Douglas has been ruled out as a result of a foot injury.

On the positive side for Atlanta, the Falcons did announce that both Devin Hester (hamstring) and Justin Blalock (back) are listed as questionable, with some external reporting that would indicate that both are somewhat likely to play. It is important to note, however, that the status of both players could vary greatly as Sunday afternoon approaches, leaving the team scrambling a bit for contingency plans.

The loss of Douglas should be mitigated by the duo of Julio Jones and Roddy White, but it would be quite beneficial if Devin Hester is able to play against his old team. On the offensive line, Blalock saw his incredible streak of consecutive games snapped last Sunday, and if he is unable to go, the Falcons will unfortunately be subjected to yet another week with Harland Gunn in the starting lineup.

Stay tuned to ATL All Day as we approach kick-off on Sunday afternoon, when the Falcons host the Bears at 4:25 pm ET.
