The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets lost their third consecutive game this past Saturday, falling to the North Carolina Tar Heels this past Saturday 38-31.

The Yellow Jackets now find themselves at 2-3 on the year and 0-2 in the ACC. Projected this preseason to be the class of the ACC Coastal, the Ramblin’ Wreck has a two game hole they must dig themselves out of in the division. After losing to both Duke and North Carolina, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets continue to plummet in the division standings.

Week 5 showed that the ACC’s Coastal Division is up for grabs and that the college football landscape is not as clear cut as it was at the beginning of the season. Both Duke and North Carolina have emerged as legitimate contenders for the division crown, while annual contender Virginia Tech is still in the hunt.
