Over the Atlanta Falcons’ 50 years of existence as a franchise, the team has had many all-time great players.

The Atlanta Falcons have had through their 50-year history many talented players. Some have their names up on the Falcons Ring of Honor at the Georgia Dome. Two have busts in Canton, Ohio as members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. In a few short years, that number should grow to include at least a few more players that made significant contributions to their NFL careers as members of the Atlanta Falcons.

In this exercise, I will compose the Atlanta Falcons’ best starting 22, with 11 on offense and 11 on defense. Some positions went down to the wire, while others were obvious in deciding who the best player at his position was in the franchise’s history.

The Atlanta Falcons in this all-time list will start three wide receivers instead of using a the dying role of fullback. Atlanta’s defense will be a 3-4, boasting with many pass rushers the current team just does not have.

While Atlanta has only made it to one Super Bowl (1998) in 50 years and only three NFC Championship Games (1998, 2004, 2012) in franchise history, this all-time team like most of this variety in the NFL would stand as a lethal team if they were to take the field in Madden. Without further ado, here is the Atlanta Falcons’ All-Time Starting 22.
