The Atlanta Falcons have the longest losing streak in the NFL by a wide margin. How does the team’s six-game skid effect their place in the power rankings.

Your Atlanta Falcons have lost their last six games and seven of their last eight to fall to 6-7 and likely out of the NFC Playoff picture. Finishing the season with three straight wins to end up at 9-7 could somehow get the team a Wild Card spot, but that more certainly require both Minnesota and Seattle to lose out, both currently at 8-5.

Despite having a six-game losing streak, three times longer than anybody else’s in the NFL, there are teams worse off in the NFC than the Atlanta Falcons. Finishing at or above .500 for the Falcons is still possible and picking in the Top 10 in the NFL Draft for the third consecutive isn’t a certainty at this point.

However after suffering a 38-0 shutout by the Carolina Panthers in Week 14, we have to realize that this team is not going anywhere in 2015 and we must ready ourselves for all that lies ahead this offseason, leading up to free agency and the 2016 NFL Draft.

With only three more weeks of regular season NFL action remaining, here are the 2015 Week 15 NFC Power Rankings.
