The Georgia Bulldogs will have a new offense under Jim Chaney in 2016. Here are five playmakers on that side of the ball who will thrive in 2016 for UGA.

While much of the focus will be on the quarterback position in 2016 for the Georgia Bulldogs, Jacob Eason, Greyson Lambert, or Brice Ramsey aren’t going to score all the Dawgs’ touchdowns this season. They will need some help from their many playmakers on the offensive side of the ball.

Bringing in an offensive mind like offensive coordinator Jim Chaney will aid in the Dawgs to become a better offensive team in 2016 than they were in 2015 once Nick Chubb went down and the Dawgs became one-dimensional moving the football.

Chaney has been an offensive coordinator at Purdue, Tennessee, Arkansas, and Pittsburgh. He has run several different types of offenses, everything from air raid to ground-and-pound and UGA’s favorite pro-style attack.

What Jim Chaney does best besides groom quarterbacks is to make sure his offense’s best playmakers are able to get the football. Chaney is one of the more creative minds in play calling in the Power 5.

With another great offensive coach joining Chaney in Athens in offensive line coach Sam Pittman, the Georgia Bulldogs’ starting quarterback will hopefully have ample time in the pocket to deliver strikes to his receiving playmakers or feel confident about pounding the rock with UGA’s already strong running game.

Here are the five playmakers on offense that should have a great 2016 NCAA season playing in Jim Chaney’s offense for the Georgia Bulldogs.
