For only the second time in franchise history the Atlanta Falcons are in the Super Bowl. For younger fans it may have been too long to remember the last time the Falcons played a game that would mean this much to Atlanta. Atlanta’s only major sports championship came in 1995 when the Atlanta Braves won the World Series.

On the opposite side the New England Patriots are headed to the Super Bowl yet again. Since Tom Brady has taken over at quarterback there is rarely a year that goes by that the Patriots are not playing either in the Super Bowl or in an AFC championship game.

The Patriots have become the decided favorite in the game because of their experience playing in Super Bowls. While that is understandable it is also fair to mention that the Falcons are a young team that is desperate to win the Super Bowl and earn their franchise the respect that it lacks based on their track record.

With Super Bowl week we will take a look at the five biggest stories surrounding both the game and the news leading up to it.   Here are the five biggest story lines from the week and tomorrow’s game.
