5. Georgia vs. (@) Notre Dame September 9th, 2017

Out of the top 5 toughest games that are a part of the Georgia Bulldogs 2017 football schedule, the game against Notre Dame ranks 5th. It’s ranks at the bottom of this list for the simple reason that Notre Dame is still trying to find its fame back in college football. With that being said, this is also one of the most anticipated games of the 2017 season. At the beginning of every season, the Fighting Irish fans wait to see if Notre Dame can fight their way back to the greatness they acquired decades ago. This season, Georgia is going for an SEC East title, but a win/loss against the Fighting Irish will not help UGA receive that title.

Notre Dame head coach, Brian Kelly, has brought in former Memphis OC, Chip Long, to run offense, hinting that the Irish will be running a bit more of an up-tempo system than we have seen in the past. With Wimbush replacing Kizer at the quarterback position, the burning question is how long will it take him, and the rest of the ND offense, to catch up with Long’s scheme. So, with that being said & the Dawgs playing the Irish in week 2, Georgia may have a huge advantage over Notre Dame’s offense and bring home the win.
