Georgia Tech is squaring off with an FBS opponent for the first time this year! Let’s get to the particulars.

Georgia Tech enters this game with Duke having been virtually untested in the lopsided opening win against Elon. However, this is a real, live opponent for the Jackets this week, and Duke can be dangerous, especially in the confines of their home, Wallace Wade Stadium.
We gave you a full-scale preview from Carlos Collazo on Friday, but the fact that Georgia Tech is in the “others receiving votes” categories in both polls should suggest that they are significant favorites here. On cue, our friends in Las Vegas have installed the Jackets as an 8.5-point favorite (even on the road) and from an expectations standpoint, this would be a bad loss for Paul Johnson and company.
