This is a big, big game for the Yellow Jackets. The North Carolina Tar Heels visit Bobby Dodd Stadium, and they bring with them a 1-1 record with the lone blemish against a very good South Carolina team.
Carlos Collazo brought you the full preview on Friday, but it can’t be overstated how big of a game this is for Tech. The fact that it is at home is huge, as the Jackets still have to go on the road to Virginia, Miami, and Clemson, but it is also huge because of the following week. Tech has a quick turnaround for a Thursday night game against Virginia Tech, and coming off of a loss would be a brutal way to move toward Thursday.
UNC may have a talent advantage here (especially in the trenches), but our friends in Las Vegas have installed the Yellow Jackets as a 6-to-7 point favorite at home, and I think this is a game that Tech can (and should) win.
Feel free to discuss the game freely in the comments below (we encourage that!), and stay tuned for post-game analysis, including a full recap shortly after the game.
