First things first, we took a full look at this game on Friday morning, so check that out if you missed it. This is an absolute, unequivocal must-win for the Bulldogs if they want to stay alive in the SEC East race, and that point is clear at this stage.
Our friends in Las Vegas have installed the Bulldogs as a 7-point favorite, even on the road, and that plainly illustrates the talent differential between the two teams. However, we talked about that gap being significantly smaller than you’d think on Friday (it is), and the offensive firepower from Vanderbilt combined with the defensive issues for Todd Grantham and the Bulldogs should scare any member of Bulldog Nation.
It’s a huge day for the Dawgs, but with SEC Title chances still in view, I’d expect a solid-to-great performance from Mark Richt and the entire ball club.
