In comparison with last week’s bombshell, it’s been a relatively quiet week in the land of the Atlanta Braves’ new ballpark. However, there is new information available to us, and it comes in the form of picture renderings of what the new stadium will look like.

To be honest, I am extremely skeptical of almost any information (especially “renderings”) regarding actual formats/photos/etc. of the new ballpark, but if these are true, it looks outstanding. The team made sure to display a look from the new, mall-like development next to the stadium, and that is sure to generate some interest.

My other immediate thought from this was just the “wow” factor of shear size. The stadium itself will, by all accounts, be much smaller in terms of seating than Turner Field ever was, but if this type of massive development comes together, the Braves will absolutely own that portion of the city limits.

There will surely be more information to come in the days ahead, but if you are clamoring for images to store away, this is the place to find them.
