It’s been a long time since the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets were on the football field, but despite a lopsided loss to Clemson, they return to the field on Saturday in what should be an “interesting” game against Alabama A&M.
The reason that I chose the word “interesting” is to be nice to the visiting Bulldogs, as this should be a non-competitive game. A&M is currently 4-7 while playing FCS opponents, and they’ve failed to score even double-digits in 4 different games this season. Not all “cupcake” match-ups are created equal, and frankly, there are some FCS teams that could likely be competitive against Georgia Tech, but this simply isn’t one of them.
It isn’t often that a betting line from Las Vegas can tell you everything you need to know about a football game, but if there was ever a case of that, it is with this football games. Georgia Tech is currently a 51.5-point favorite in this game (that’s not a typo), meaning that they are believed to be at least seven touchdowns better than this Alabama A&M unit. Needless to say, this is about as lopsided of a match-up as you’ll ever see, and this is a dial-a-score situation for the Jackets.
Stay tuned to this thread throughout the afternoon, and feel free to blast off in the comments before, during, and after the game.
