The brief, 2-0 “dream” came to a crashing end for the Georgia Bulldogs on Tuesday night, as they were lambasted by the much more talented Florida Gators. Still, Mark Fox’s club is above .500 in conference play, and the schedule lets up a bit as Arkansas visits Stegeman Coliseum on Saturday afternoon.

The Razorbacks enter Athens with a stellar 12-4 record, but this is only their 2nd true road game of the season, and they dropped an embarrassing 16-point loss to Texas A&M on January 8th. Still, the Hogs are balanced on both ends of the floor this season, ranking in the top-100 in both offensive and defensive efficiency, and they have 4 scorers currently averaging double-figures.

On the UGA side, any momentum that the Dawgs had seemed to crash and burn against Florida, but that was a nearly impossible situation (top-10 team on the road), and before that, the picture was looking bright. Unfortunately, the numbers don’t look favorably on Georgia, though, as you’ll see momentarily.

Our pals in Las Vegas have installed Arkansas as a 2.5-point road favorite, and that is backed up by a KenPom projection of a 5-point Arkansas win. Georgia will be looking to avoid falling to .500 on the year in this one, and any fan support would certainly be appreciated by Mark Fox and company.

Stay tuned for more information as it comes, and a game recap to follow.
