Weather concerns in the Atlanta area (i.e. ice, snow, driving conditions, etc.) are the cause of the postponement, and honestly, I’m not positive that the game will be able to take place on Thursday. According to the official release, the tip-off time and broadcast information will be released later in the day, but it wouldn’t exactly be a surprise to see both sides agree to push this game back once again.
This is a big game for Brian Gregory’s team, simply because it is against an inferior opponent in their own home building, and anything that changes that is an inherent negative. Stay tuned for further updates as they become available.
