After a very solid season that resulted in a 3rd-place finish in the SEC and a high seed in the upcoming NIT, two members of the Georgia Bulldogs basketball team, Charles Mann and Kenny Gaines, have been recognized as All-SEC contributors for the 2013-2014 season.

Mann and Gaines were both selected as honorable mentions for All-SEC honors, but with only 2 full “teams” selected by the Associated Press, this places both players among the top 17 players in the conference this season. The backcourt duo represents what most consider to be the top-end talent on the current UGA roster, and with both sophomore guards averaging more than 13 points per game on the year, the Bulldogs were able to muster a respectable offense despite a relative lack of firepower.

On the bright side for Bulldog fans, it looks incredibly likely that both Mann and Gaines will return for their junior seasons, and with some new talent incoming and a team that seemed to gel down the stretch, things could be looking up in Athens.
