With less than a week remaining before Opening Day, the Atlanta Braves will be in the spotlight on Tuesday afternoon, as the worldwide leader in sports (ESPN) is set to televise their Grapefruit League game with the Detroit Tigers. In that spirit, here is the posted lineup for the game.
Obviously, the headliner here is the fact that Ervin Santana is on the mound for the Braves, and it’ll be interesting to see how long he goes after a 2-inning debut back on March 20th against the New York Mets. In addition to Santana’s inclusion on the bump, the Braves will utilize a full lineup of guys who are projected to make the roster, with the interesting (and for me, troubling) inclusion of Chris Johnson in the clean-up spot ahead of Justin Upton in the batting order.
