The NFL Draft is tomorrow, and for the Atlanta Falcons that means today is probably the last day that Thomas Dimitroff will be looking at his assigned assortment of picks. He’s got 10 of them to play with this year, which means there is a distinct possibility that he’s active trading them–possibly for the first overall pick of the draft.

Here’s the list of each Atlanta pick (as of now), round by round with draft value points* in parenthesis beside each pick.

*From WalterFootball.com this chart is used by NFL managers and execs to help determine what they need to give up if they want to trade up, and how much they should get in return for one of their picks if they are trying to trade down. • Pick 1: Round 1, Pick 6, Overall 6 (1,600)
  • Pick 2: Round 2, Pick 5, Overall 37 (530)
  • Pick 3: Round 3, Pick 4, Overall 68 (250)
  • Pick 4: Round 4, Pick 3, Overall 103 (104)
  • Pick 5*: Round 4, Pick 39, Overall 139
  • Pick 6: Round 5, Pick 7, Overall 147 (38.5)
  • Pick 7: Round 6, Pick 6, Overall 182 (25)
  • Pick 8: Round 7, Pick 5, Overall 220 (12.6)
  • Pick 9*: Round 7, Pick 38, Overall 253
  • Pick 10*: Round 7, Pick 40, Overall 255

*Compensatory picks, which cannot be traded

So, there you have it. The Falcons have a ton of picks and aside from the compensation picks, each are pick 7 or higher in each round. That’s a pretty significant haul for Dimitroff and company and should leave the Falcons with plenty to work with as they try to rebuild for next season and get back into the playoffs.
