Georgia Tech picked to finish 5th in Coastal Division
The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets were picked to finish fifth in the Coastal Division of the Atlantic Coast Conference in the ACC preseason media poll released today.
Miami was projected to finish first in the division, followed by Duke, Virginia Tech, North Carolina, Georgia Tech, Pitt and Virginia. Here is the full preseason poll as posted by Ken Sugiura with the Atlanta Journal-Constitution:

Last season, the Georgia Tech football team finished fourth in the Coastal Division with a 5-3 division record and a 7-6 overall record.
In this year’s poll, the Yellow Jackets did receive one first place vote, but that could speak more to the division as a whole moreso than the current team.
