The Atlanta Falcons have begun their full swing of practices in preparation for the upcoming NFL season, but unfortunately, Sunday’s edition turned from focusing on the field to the health of one of the team’s offensive lineman. Second-year offensive tackle Terren Jones was carted off the field on Sunday as a result of an apparent serious injury, and he left practice in an ambulance.
Jones eyes were close and he wasn't moving. Hopefully he will be ok ambulance waiting

Falcons OT Terren Jones currently being taken off the field on a stretcher. Thoughts with him. Will have updates as they are available.

At this point, details are extremely limited, but head coach Mike Smith referenced Jones in a brief comment after practice.
Coach Smith: We certainly hope Terren (Jones) will be alright. No updates at this time. #aftc14

The 22-year-old Jones was set to compete for a backup job at offensive tackle after being signed as an undrafted free agent last season, but those details seem inconsequential with this type of injury. Prayers are certainly with Jones and his family at this time, and we will update the situation as more details emerge.
