Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at Tulane Green Wave: Start Time, TV Channel, Live Stream and More
By Brad Rowland
Hello, New Orleans! The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and Tulane Green Wave are set to open a new stadium with a match-up on Saturday afternoon, and the excitement is building. In our full game preview, we broke down both sides of the ball for each team, but needless to say, the environment is the chief draw for the Tulane faithful, while Georgia Tech desperately needs a victory for their profile.
Quarterback Justin Thomas and the offense could go a long way in silencing the doubters by carving up what is actually a talented Tulane defense, but the other side of the field is more crucial for the Jackets. A nightmare scenario would be a repeat of the running dominance performed by Wofford in the opener, and the biggest thing that Tech could do in this spot to bring confidence to the fan base is put forth a big-time effort defensively.
Despite being on the road against a solid opponent, the Jackets are currently a 10-point favorite against the Green Wave, with Vegas showing a bit of respect to Paul Johnson’s club in a reasonable tough spot. I wouldn’t go as far as to predict a blowout victory, but one is needed to “cover” that point spread.
Stay tuned to this thread throughout the afternoon, and feel free to blast off in the comments before, during, and after the game. Here are the particulars for the match-up:
