Georgia Bulldogs vs. Troy Trojans: Start Time, TV Channel, Live Stream and More
By Brad Rowland
After a bit of a hiatus, Mark Richt and the Georgia Bulldogs are back in Athens for their second home contest of the season, and Saturday afternoon’s festivities bring the Troy Trojans to town for a meeting between the hedges. Unlike the first two games for the Dawgs, this match-up is not featured on the national stage, as the Trojans simply don’t bring any sort of cache to the table, but after some ultra-tense moments, that may not be a bad thing for the hearts and minds of the Bulldog Nation.
For the degenerates among us (there is no judgment here), Las Vegas and the off-shore bookmakers generally list the Bulldogs as a 41-point favorite in the game, and while that may seem like a misprint, it is probably indicative of just how large the talent gap is between these two clubs. Our full-length preview from Friday afternoon took a deeper dive into the proceedings, but as a rule, Georgia’s roster is bigger, faster, more athletic and more talented than Troy’s unit, with the only match-up of relative weakness coming with UGA’s secondary against a reasonably efficient passing game from the Trojans.
Stay tuned for post-game analysis, including a full recap shortly after the game. Here are the particulars for Saturday’s match-up, including how and when to keep an eye on the broadcast via multiple outlets:
