Scenario 5: Georgia wins out, Missouri loses at least one game. Georgia advances on head-to-head with Missouri. (30%)

This is the scenario that every Georgia fan is dying to see.

It hinges on Georgia beating Auburn. Good news! The game is at home. In the last three home games against Auburn (2011, 2009, 2007) Georgia won them all. Bad news! When Auburn has been ranked in the top 10 over the last decade and change, Georgia is 1-3 in the game. The lone win was back in 2006 when Georgia went 8-4 and managed to ruin Auburn’s outside shot at a national title. Good times there.

Oh, and we have a shot of doing that again! Oh wait, more bad news, Auburn runs the ball better than Florida, and the Gators just put over 400 yards on the UGA defense. But more good news, the Dawgs will likely have Todd Gurley back and he’s a game-changer looking to make a statement. Not the most likely for me, unfortunately, simply because Auburn is a tough match, but it’s getting there.
