Georgia Tech vs. Clemson: Start Time, TV Channel, Live Stream and More
By Brad Rowland
For the first time in a long time, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets are in a battle between top-25 teams. On Saturday at Bobby Dodd Stadium, Paul Johnson’s club will host the Clemson Tigers in an ESPN-televised contest, and there is a great deal at stake on both sides. Clemson has the benefit of their starting quarterback, freshman Deshaun Watson, returning to get the start in this spot, but at the same time, Georgia Tech has been much improved defensively in recent weeks, and that provides optimism.
As of the time of this particular post, the Yellow Jackets are listed as a 3-point underdog in this game, and that is a bit of a slap in the face given the venue of the game. Clemson is perceived nationally as the more talented team, and while that may be true, the body of the work for the Tigers is not exactly conducive to laying points on the road. In our full preview from Thursday, Carlos Collazo examined the game in full, but in a more abbreviated take, Georgia Tech and Clemson appear to be evenly matched, setting the stage for some real fireworks on Saturday afternoon in Atlanta.
