Atlanta Falcons vs. Carolina Panthers: Start Time, TV Channel, Live Stream and More
By Brad Rowland
Don’t look now, but the Atlanta Falcons are only one game behind the New Orleans Saints in the NFC South, and with that on the table, Sunday’s tilt against the Carolina Panthers could potentially mean a great deal. In our full preview from Friday morning, we took a look at what to expect on both sides, but let’s break these down in shorter form here. This isn’t an “easy” spot for Atlanta given the venue of the game (in Charlotte) and the way the offense has performed away from the Georgia Dome this season. However, the Panthers have been ghastly in recent weeks, and as such, this is a very winnable spot.
While the line could certainly move before kick-off, the leading odds-makers (both in Vegas and off-shore) have the Falcons as approximately a 1-point favorite in this game, and that prognostication should indicate what the “experts” think of the Panthers at this point in the season. It is somewhat surprising to see the Falcons as a road favorite, but with last week’s results fresh in the minds of everyone, it isn’t quite as insane.
Stay tuned for post-game analysis, including a full recap shortly after the game, and feel free to sound off by using the comment section of this post as a game thread of sorts.
