Jeff Teague led both the Atlanta Hawks and the New Orleans Pelicans in scoring Friday night, to lead the Hawks to a 100-91 win at Philips Arena.

The win gives the Hawks their sixth home win of the year, and their eighth overall.

The Hawks didn’t trail New Orleans the entire night after the first period and took a 41-28 lead into the half after an extremely impressive defensive performance. The Pelicans finished the game with a 40.4 shooting percentage and a 29.2 percentage from the 3-point line.

Anthony Davis still managed a double-double, but was still held to just 14 points on the night. Jrue Holiday led the Pelicans with 20 points.

Teague finished the night with 26 points on 10-for-16 from the field, while dishing out seven assists and hauling in four boards. Aside from Teague, DeMarre Carroll had an impressive night offensively, scoring 19 points on 6-for-9 shooting and 6-for-6 from the free throw line.

After the final buzzer, the Hawks were looking at a field goal percentage of 50.

While Al Horford and Paul Millsap didn’t have their most impressive offensive nights, both of them were active and the two combined for five blocks (three for Horford, two for Millsap) to help create a pain for the Pelicans offense.

The Hawks will get right back at it tomorrow night as they host the Charlotte Hornets at 7:30 PM.
