Georgia Bulldogs vs. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets: Start Time, TV Channel, Live Stream and More

It’s here. The Georgia Bulldogs and Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets each look forward to this day filled with “Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate” for 364 days, and today, we have arrived. This year’s contest is extremely meaningful on both sides, with Paul Johnson and Mark Richt each sporting top-16 rankings according to the College Football Playoff committee, but to be honest, “extra” stakes would not be needed in order to guarantee plenty of fuel and focus on both sidelines.

As of the time of this particular post, the Bulldogs are listed as a 13-point underdog in this game, and while that may seem incredibly lopsided to Georgia Tech supporters (or even UGA faithful), it should be noted that it actually opened higher, with Georgia as a 14.5-point favorite earlier in the week. The general perception nationally is that Georgia is the more talented team from top to bottom, but that isn’t a shock, and the Ramblin’ Wreck will be reliant on execution in their triple option offense to overcome that perceived disadvantage in pure strength and speed.

In our full preview from earlier in the week, we broke down both sides of the ball, and catching up on that information should provide critical background for evaluating the festivities. Still, this game could simply come down to which quarterback operates its offense better, as Hutson Mason navigates the waters through the air with a cast of veteran receivers, while Justin Thomas attempts to read opposing defensive ends spotlessly to generate room for the option pitch.

Stay tuned to this thread throughout the afternoon, and feel free to blast off in the comments before, during, and after the game. Here are the particulars for the match-up:
