Atlanta Falcons vs. Green Bay Packers: Start Time, TV Channel, Live Stream and More
By Brad Rowland
The Atlanta Falcons have been riding with a bit of positive momentum in recent weeks, with overwhelmingly positive play despite some uneven results. However, Mike Smith and his team face a significant challenge in front of a national audience this week, as they travel to Lambeau Field to face the Green Bay Packers on Monday Night Football. This is, quite obviously, the toughest test (at least on paper) for the remainder of the season for Atlanta, and given their position in jockeying for control of the NFC South, it is certainly an important battle on the field.
While the line could certainly move before kick-off, the leading odds-makers (from our pals in Las Vegas and off-shore) have the Falcons as approximately a 13-point underdog in this game, and while that may feel a bit high for any NFL game, facing off against Aaron Rodgers in a primetime spot brings the skeptics out in a hurry. The Falcons have a puncher’s chance in this match-up (as covered in our full preview from earlier in the week and also in laying out the blueprint for an Atlanta victory), but virtually no one is giving them much of a shot to emerge victorious. Still, this is a giant opportunity for Matt Ryan and company, and that cannot be taken lightly.
