Atlanta Falcons vs. New Orleans Saints: Start Time, TV Channel, Live Stream and More

For nearly a month, pundits and fans alike have been pointing to Week 16 and the battle between the Atlanta Falcons and the New Orleans Saints in the SuperDome. Now, the time is here. This has become a de facto NFC South “championship” game, as the winner will unquestionably take control of the division with only one week left in the 2014 NFL season. Regardless of the records or stakes, it is always fun when these two teams get together on the field, and even in a year when neither club lived up to somewhat lofty expectations, there is no reason to suspect anything but fireworks on the field in New Orleans on Sunday afternoon.

While the line could certainly move before kick-off, the leading odds-makers (both in Vegas and off-shore) have installed the Falcons as approximately a 6.5-point underdog in this game, and quite frankly, that seems to be a bit inflated given the nature of the rivalry and the overall level of the two teams. Still, New Orleans is seen by many as the more talented team (as covered in our full preview from earlier in the week), and they are coming off of a victory, while Atlanta is aiming to claim a bounce-back victory after last week’s disappointing loss at home. It will be intriguing to see how Mike Smith’s team responds, especially in the early going, and having a healthy team (i.e. with Julio Jones and Roddy White on the outside) could do wonders.

Stay tuned for post-game analysis, including a full recap shortly after the game, and feel free to sound off by using the comment section of this post as a game thread of sorts.
