Georgia Bulldogs vs. Ole Miss Rebels preview: Greetings from Oxford
By Brad Rowland
After a much needed victory over the Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday, the Georgia Bulldogs appear to have righted the ship. However, that newfound confidence and optimism will be put to the test on Wednesday, as the team in red and black travels to Oxford to take on the Ole Miss Rebels in prime time.

Our friends at KenPom.com have installed the Georgia Bulldogs as 4-point underdogs in the contest (with both Las Vegas and off-shore outlets ready to mirror that sentiment). That likely indicates that Ole Miss and Georgia are similar clubs, with a hat tip toward home court advantage, but with an 8-6 mark in SEC play, Mark Fox’s club probably needs this victory more.
At this point in the season, it is fair to say that every result is magnified. This isn’t a “must win” for the Georgia Bulldogs, but they could certainly use another quality road win on their list of accomplishments for the 2014-2015 season.
