"The Georgia Tech baseball team opened up conference play with a tough 3-2 loss on Friday against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.A single by third baseman Kyle Fiala in the top of the 10th inning brought Lane Richards home for what would be the game winning run for the Irish. Keenan Innis singled in the bottom of the 10th and advanced to second on a sacrifice bunt, but Daniel Spingola hit a hard line drive to second that doubled up Innis to end the game."

"Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that LB Sean Weatherspoon will reach the open market, despite the fact that he was considered to be a priority for the Falcons.According to Rapoport, it’s unlikely that Weatherspoon will be back in Atlanta next year.Vaughn McClure of ESPN mentioned earlier in the week that the Falcons and Weatherspoon could have an agreement in place on a new contract extension “very soon.”"
