2012 vs. Celtics

The 2012 season was a bit of a step back as Al Horford was lost to injury for nearly the entire season. Jeff Teague led the team at the point, but Josh Smith began shooting three’s again in a 40-win campaign.

Still, the Hawks were the 5 seed and were able to get Horford back for a portion of the series even if he wasn’t 100%. The team seemed to always play “the big three” well, but even though that core in Boston was aging the Hawks could not get past them. Celtics won the series in six games.
