2013 vs. Pacers

Prior to the 2012-13 season the Hawks were able to unload Joe Johnson’s league maximum salary on the Brooklyn Nets, freeing them up to start over without him.

In lieu of Johnson, the Hawks added sharp-shooter Kyle Korver. But we did had Josh Smith jacking up wild three’s and being a detriment to success despite his extreme talent.

Once again the 5th seed, Atlanta lost to Indiana in six games. Larry Drew was dismissed as head coach.
