1. San Diego Chargers
In most mock drafts, Todd Gurley projects to go 17th overall to the San Diego Chargers. The Chargers need to replace the often-injured RB Ryan Mathews as he left for Philadelphia this offseason. Being in the huddle with Pro Bowl QB Philip Rivers looks ideal for Gurley as Phil is the Chargers undisputed leader. Todd just has to let his legs do the talking for him. If the Bolts relocate to Los Angeles in the coming years, Gurley’s style of play would thrive in the LA market. Plus, who wouldn’t want to see Todd in a Powder Blue Bolts jersey. I’m projecting the Chargers to take Todd Gurley at 17. If we’re lucky, he just might be the next LaDainian Tomlinson.
