Jeff Teague will begin the 2015-2016 season as the Atlanta Hawks starting point guard. After averaging 15.9 PPG and 7 assists per game last season, Teague appears primed for another excellent campaign. Teague earned his first All-Star game selection last season, showcasing his passing ability and excellent basket penetration.

He and was arguably the Atlanta Hawks best player not named DeMarre Carroll during the postseason, averaging 16.8 points per game. Teague is the motor that revs the Atlanta Hawks offensive engine and without him, the team is unable to effectively move the basketball.

Last season, Head Coach Mike Budenholzer would pair Teague with his back-up, Dennis Schroder, creating an explosive PG tandem on the floor. Bud may use this line-up often in the coming year, looking to leverage the athleticism of his two guards to the Hawks advantage. Look for Teague to continue to raise his level of play and enter the realm of top-tier point guards this season.
