Atlanta Braves: Five All-Star Position Player Wish List
By John Buhler
In my opinion, if the Atlanta Braves were to acquire Adam Jones in some miraculous fashion from the Baltimore Orioles, it would be the best move the Atlanta Braves would have made in free agency since the Greg Maddux deal in 1993. Jones is a 5x All-Star for the O’s, 4x Gold Glove winner, and took home a Silver Slugger Award in 2013.
Again there is no way the Braves ever get Adam Jones to leave hitter-friendly Camden Yards as the Orioles franchise player. But what if he really wanted to play with Nick Markakis again and Hart could throw at least two top-tier prospects Baltimore’s way in an upcoming offseason.

According to those TV commercials, Adam Jones lives and breathes baseball. Of all the gamers in Major League Baseball, he is the most talented. To me, that is a dangerous combination. Though it hasn’t happened yet, I still feel that Adam Jones will win an AL MVP before he hangs up his spikes. If there is any Top 15 position player in baseball that I would want Hart to shamelessly pursue, it’s Adam Jones.
Great, now I’m getting my hopes up. I’d love to see Jones play in CF for the Atlanta Braves in the home opener in SunTrust Park. Of course he would have to pick another jersey number. 10’s taken!
