Jace Peterson has had a good first half of the season as a rookie, batting .252 with 37 RBI’s and is hitting over .400 with runners in scoring position. With the expected departure of Maybin, the Atlanta offense is not left with much run scoring or manufacturing ability. Peterson has already shown that he is part of the Braves’ future plans, and will continue to raise his stock in the second half of the season as the Atlanta Braves’ second baseman (or third baseman) of the future.
