While Georgia-Tennessee and Georgia-Missouri might be more meaningful matchups in the SEC Standings for 2015, both aren’t likely to host College GameDay. Georgia would have just been on GameDay the week prior versus Alabama before heading to Knoxville. GameDay rarely goes to the same location twice in a year, so as high-profile as UGA-Mizzou might be ESPN will likely venture elsewhere in Week 7.
But Georgia-Florida does have serious intrigue in 2015. Florida has a new HC in Jim McElwain, former Saban disciple and leader of the Colorado State Rams. The Gators also shocked the SEC with their victory over arch rival Georgia in last year’s WLOCP.

Given the mutual hatred between both schools and that it’s one of the few neutral site games remaining in College Football, on a beach metropolis like Jacksonville, why wouldn’t College GameDay consider this Week 9 matchup on their list of possible stops?
It’s a pretty weak slate of games across College Football in Week 9. GameDay could go to Raleigh for Clemson-NC State which would be, eh. If ESPN gets sick of going to SEC schools by the time Halloween gets here, perhaps Lee Corso and the Gang go to a non-Power 5 location and spread the love. It’s up in the air but if the Crew wants to stay Power 5 in Week 9, come join all the fun going on in Jacksonville and the Golden Isles.
